CANESTEN CREAM 10G

• Contains the active ingredient clotrimazole, which is an antifungal medicine.

• used to treat fungal skin infections such as Athlete' foot, white spots and ringworm

Direction of Use:

- Apply thinly and evenly to the affected areas two or three times daily and rubbed in gently.

- A strip of cream (½ cm long) is enough to treat an area of about the size of the hand.

Cautions: If symptoms persist, consult your doctor. Patients should notify their physician if there is no improvement after 4 weeks of treatment.

 

How long to use it?

- Athlete’s foot, ringworm, fungal infection of the tissues adjacent to the nails, fungal infections of the skin folds: 3-4 weeks or as directed by physicians.

- Erythrasma (skin redness/irritation): 2-4 weeks or as directed by physicians.

- White spots: 1-3 weeks or as directed by physicians.

-Thrush infections: at least 2 weeks

 

NOTE* Keep using the cream for a week after all the symptoms have cleared up - this will make sure the infection is fully treated and help avoid it coming back.
